Meet a giant African millipede, a Chilean grey tarantula and a MacLeay’s spectre stick insect, presented by live animals supervisor, Peter Heule. Feeling shy? A little liquid courage goes a long way!

Join the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS) for a fun and educational evening when the museum is open late. Bring your friends and make some new invertebrate ones.

Peter Heule, live animal supervisor at the Royal Alberta Museum started as a volunteer in the Bug Room back in 1998 and has been working for the museum ever since. A lifelong fascination with all animals led to years of experience keeping mammals, reptiles, amphibians and a wide range of invertebrates, a perfect fit for a person like Pete. He continues to share his passion for the more than 250 species of live animals that the RAM displays.

Non-Friend $60

Tickets include one complimentary welcome beverage (non-alcoholic), one beer ticket and light refreshments, which includes BBQ chicken wings and mac and cheese.
