Learn to Identify Ice Age Fossils
How do you know the difference between a Mastodon and a Mammoth tooth? How about a Bison’s foot from a Horse? These skills and many more are key for Palaeontologists as they piece together Alberta’s frozen past.
In this workshop, our Quaternary Palaeontology Team will teach you basic comparative anatomy of Ice Age fossils, and how you can examine a skeleton to identify an animal group or species.
This workshop is open to anyone aged 15+, with no previous experience necessary.
Location: Meet at the Red Dot in the Lobby by the Stairs
Age group: 15 and up
Duration: Over 2 hours
Cost: $21 (Includes RAM Admission and all materials)
