The Rice Howard Way Entertainment District is in full swing this summer. Every Saturday from 1 PM to 9 PM, Rice Howard Way (101 Avenue & 100 Street) will be closed to vehicles as it transforms into a summer block party series.
You can pop into any of the businesses along the block and grab an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage to bring out on the street.
You may not consume your own outside alcohol within the district. Only alcohol purchased from one of the licensed establishments within the Entertainment District is allowed.
Like any other city patio, smoking is not permitted in the district.
Last call for grab-and-go beverages at all participating businesses is 8 PM.

There are several surrounding parkades and street parking you can choose from, including:
Edmonton City Centre East – $3.25 Saturday deal
Rice Howard Parkade – $5 9 AM – 9 AM the next day Sunday
Street parking – hourly rate will vary from $1+
Ride your bike here
The City of Edmonton is offering complimentary bike parking service located on 100 Street and 102 Avenue on a first-come, first-serve basis. Two members will be on-site from 11 AM to 11 PM to help you check-in and check-out but it is advised you bring your own lock.
Smoking
The Rice Howard Way Entertainment District is a smoke-free zone. We ask you step outside of the district for a puff.
